Switch between Users mess stuff up

Ok I have two users on my comp.

When I switch from one to other the order of icons changes. (the resolution is same).

Here screen to see what is doing

you can see that it moves icons to the top.. and making two last rows empty.

Im not really sure what the problem is. sorry. Does that happen everytime you restart your computer or only when you switch users and go back to your account

If my daughter uses her profile on my comp, it screws up my settings... even if she is completely logged off. I have to restart the computer to get my stuff to work right after she's been on her settings.

Thankfully, her and my wife use my settings/profile 99% of the time.

Any way.

When I switch from user to user its messing up my desktop (and other user's as well).

I using rez. 1280 by. 960

and I can put 12 icon by vertical.

but when I switch from user to user, there only 10 icon max by vertical, 2 others get moved to next column.

same kind of thing happens with other user. If he have all 12 Icon in column.... when he log in to mine and then go back to his.
There will 10 and 2 next to them
