Hi,

I recently purchased a second hand (new condition) computer.
I connected it up correctly, and turned the computer on.
The machine powered up correctly, but when turning the moniter on, came the problem.
I press the 'on' button on the moniter, and the light appears green, to say that the moniter is turned on.
Nothing happens... then about three seconds later, the moniter clicks off.
I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work, but all to no avail.
Can anyone please tell me what is wrong?

Regards,
Bob.

ummm I'am wondering if you have a second monitor to test on it to see if it isnt the computer.I dont know why the Screen would be messing up.Do you know if it was drop can you shake and hear if there are any lose things inside moving around. How old is it and an a new screen probaly is your best option.Umm i wouldnt buy a new CRT try ebay for a good deal below a $100 regardless the size.or a LCD for under $200.

Okay, I tried another moniter, which had been previously working on my other computer, and that didn't work either, so it's obviously a problem with the system. Do you have any idea what?

Regards,
Bob.
