I was going to build a computer this summer, but with all the talk of the new chipsets, and bootcamp being released I am now thinking of buying a mac... and waiting a little longer untill they fix bootcamp. However it occured to me that since the mac and windows simply run diff BIOS, how long will it be for windows to be able to run OSX... Windows Vista....

Windows Vista 32 bit still uses the BIOS so it cannot and will not support a mac Windows vista 64 bit will use / can use the mac efi (extensive firmware something of another???) so it will be compatible.

Boot camp has also been changed to a threesome program it now supports linux.

OK, well I was considering building a computer mid august - is that too early for the chipsets... should I wait another couple months

I am going to be buying a Mac Mini with the Dual Core Intel chip and 1 gig of memory in the next few months for all my graphics production work. The mini will be what I install Vista on.
