Quick question, does the voltage of the memory you buy affect the performance. i.e. is it better to buy memory with 2.6v or 2.8v?

Well lower voltage is always better but it really shouldn't effect the performance. Although if you're OCing I'd look for RAM with lower voltage.

Thats not Geil, thats G.Skill. And you know what they say, You aint got skillz unless you got G.Skill. Go with the G.Skill.

yeah get the G.Skill. its better to have one with less voltage, a) because it creates less heat and b) u have more room to OC it if u need to

I have 2GB of G.Skill PC3200 RAM, and it's working great for me. I recommend the G.Skill from experience. And as other posters have said, lower voltage is better. To get higher overclocks, you'll need to increase the voltage, and the lower the stock voltage, the more head room you have. It's safe to assume that you don't want to ruin anything.
