and could someone explain to me what some of the specs mean?
8ms = faster refresh, (no ghosting, etc..) is that right?
what about the xxx:1 (ex: 500:1) contrast ratio?
and anything else I didn't mention

here's what I've sumed it down to:
The specs look good (except It doesn't support DVI), also, I've never heard of this site - $245
So far, Still my favorite for the price and the reviews - $233 ($172 after rebait (I think it expired today though))

Directron has been around awhile. And the difference between DVI and VGA is not enough to really see a major difference.
Yeah, the rebate expires today (4/16). Has the lowest contrast ratio.
Highest contrast ratio. Best pixel pitch.
I'd say the Tyris first, the Sceptre second.
