MY FIRST ACTUAL BUILD (AMD Too!!)

i will only order hard drives/CPU's off newegg and i cant really do them w/o my mom because i have a debit card and not a credit card..thanks!

wait for G80 and Intel's shining future. Also my neighbor has that case and the PSU is a tad small.

G80? that the new intel cpu? and i dont wanna wait its about **** time i build a new one cuz intel blows anyway..i wanna try AMD!

If you want to be stubborn and stick to a company without facts i'm not stopping you. I'm also not going to stop you from building but the now is the time for all the new hardware to be released soon which means 1. you can get better hardware or 2. the hardware you want to buy will be a **** of a lot cheaper.


You do not "try" new hardware that you will stick with for many years in most ocasions you get your facts.

The sucky Intel will be only 300 USD and will destroy any processor from both the current Intel's line and any AMD. The G80 will be expensive but even the cheaper models which are to be in a reasonable price range will say 300 USD will be better than the current 500-600 USD 7900s.

Yeah, its almost time for the new line of stuff to be out. BTW, G80 is a graphics chipset, not a CPU.

SAME HERE.... but idc i'm goin to get an AMD no matter how good the new Conroe is gonna be. Everyone knows AMD is goin to come out with something just as good but probably better.

wait till mid june to buy ur stuff, the new AM2 socket will be out and all s939 stuff will be cheaper or wait till next feb like me and get AM2 when most of hte bugs should be gone
