if you google how to convert your disc into the full version i think it would be a little more legal as you do own that copy

Isn't the product key or something labeled on the back of your computer that came with windows installed?

Yeah it's taped right on the side of the case.

So just borrow somebody's windows xp cd and use the product key labeled on your comp.
