can i use usb to connect 2 computers 2gether?

hey is it possible to connect two computers together with a standard usb cable with type a connectors on each end and be able to send files through it?

I don't think so. but 10/100 network cards are very cheap, plus a crossover cable

na, wasnt talking about the power cable, i was talking about the ethernet cable that goes into the wall, which runs to the other end of the house and goes to my router. well i read that link, and it sounds pretty easy to do, but i have a nother connection. if you have 2 cards in ur pc, what does the bridge connections thing do?
