I got the exact same score, even when I closed all my programs down. I was running about 10 when I did the test the first time, and running 0 the second time, and I got the same score.

i think it partly has to do with stability of overclocks. despite 2.5ghz was prime95 stable for me it gave me a consistently low score (the same score each time) even after rebooting a couple of times. i rebooted and put vcore up by 0.025v and tada higher score. why am i not ranked with 5277 ???

I am also thinking that it was because of stability issues. That was my first guess as too when i lowered my fsb but i know it was 24hr stable. Stability issues still dont explain why reformatting would increase scores. Im also thinking that since there is a registry test in it, thats it testing the actually OS along with cpu performance.

it wouldn't be prime stable though the typhoon is good but it's not that good when you live in australia. it would overheat if i tried prime but it was stable enough for superpi and this
