My 1600+ @ 1585MHz is getting 1m15. minutes

This is odd. I overclocked it further, to 1629MHz and I get 1m17 minutes. I tried multiple times and closed all programs. Same memory timings.Same PI version. My games run smoother, though.

You guys should also make superPI set to priority to realtime. That lowered my timings about 2 seconds

When are these guys gonna be realesed?

Found the prices:
"Four Conroe chips will ship initially: the E6300, E6400, E6600 and E6700, following Intel's new processor numbering scheme, introduced when the Core Duo mobile processor family arrived earlier this year. The four dual-core Conroes are clocked at 1.86, 2.13, 2.40 and 2.67GHz, respectively, run on a 1066MHz frontside bus and contain 4MB of cache shared between the two cores.

The CPUs will be priced at $209, $244, $316 and $530, respectively, at launch, the new report claims. At the same time, Intel will debut the VT-less Pentium D 925 at $178. In addition to the 960's price reduction to $316, the 950 will come down to $241 and the 940 to $209. Intel has already indicated it intends to phase out the 930 and 920."

there are a couple more that dont have an official release date which are the E6800 and E6900 EE chips. theyre gonna be at 2.86 and 3.06GHz and have better tech. the EE edition is going for about 1020. i hope that comes out by next feb when im getting my new comp

Are conroe processors still supposed to work with socket 775 making them usable on today's motherboards, like the P5WD2, or will she be requiring a chipset change? I was under the impression they would require a voltage change making a requirement for new mobos and all...
