running a 7800gtx 512mb at core clock 550mhz memory at 1.70ghz with intel 3011mhz cpu 1gig memory 550 w power running 3 fans in antec p800 case how far can i take my core and memory clock up overclocking it

Keep on going up very slightly until you start to see artifacts (errors on the screen.) and then back it off a little. Be aware of the true load temp, you don't want to go too close to the absolute limit.

I wouldn't be too bothered about overclocking the GPU, but more interested in that CPU, 3ghz isn't alot for a Intel.

yeah exactly. i have evga 7800GTX512. it goes to 625/1850 max.
Sweet my guessing skills were correct.

It really depends on your card, some OC better than others. Tell us how high it goes after you OC it!

or you could of just done it the easy way and hit "detect otpimal frequences", and if that was too low, raise it until it started artifacting?
