the total is about 1500 this will be pretty much my ultimate gaming comuter i can afford. does anyone have any comments or suggestions on any of the parts?
 
i could really use your guys help this is going to be my first self built computer and i want to make sure i have everything set

I was going to give you suggestions, but when I saw the $1500 total, I'm just going to design you the PC. There is so much wrong with your "ultimate gaming computer."

Note: This is about as good as it gets. The ONLY way that this can be improved upon is by upgrading the videocard, for which you'll need to cut corners, a lot, elsewhere.

thanks for the help you guys i really appreciat it, i was looking at g4tv's ugm and they mentioned something about 4X512 mb ram is better then 4X1gb ram whys this?
 
first of all 2 GB is all you will need. 4 GB actually slows your computer down at times..too much memory for XP to handle.

Dual core is the future...its a good investment
