About to order, Possible Oc's

I would but my dad has to use this too for video editing, I dont know I want Amd but he wont let me so I figured get a good overclocking pentium and oc the **** out of it and he can still do his editing.

If someone can tell what amds are good for video editing, has good oc ability and plays games very well. Also what motherboard to go with it. I will have a 2k budget so almost whatever you throw at me, I could buy.

I think that AMDs are good for all of those things. I suggest:
AMD Opteron 165 for $330
and
DFI Ultra-D Motherboard for $120
AMD's kill Intels in gaming, its not even funny.

yeah if you get a dual core opty or athlon x2 it will own the cedar mill in video editing. the cedar mill may get extreme overclocks (with enough cooling) but it needs them just to stay in the game.

Once the opteron is at 2.6ghz it will be performing the same as a FX60.
