New Computer Build Not Booting

The plug was connected to another to form an 8 pin plug. I didnt notice it. However, that was not the problem. I had the same problem as the guy on this forum:

To fix it. All I did was take out the CPU and put it back in. Strange......Hours of work leading no where 3 pointless calls to support and all it took was 1 min reinstalling the processor. Weird.....
