i forget who, but someone posted that the ANtec Truepower had 19Amps on one of the rails, and i think 16amps on the other for the 12v. and the x1900xtx requires 33 amps. would this mean that the 2 ampages are added together? is that how dual rail works?

I think if you are going to compare single rail PSUs to dual rail PSUs, you would just add up the amperage on the two rails.

I am pretty sure thats how it works, but I'm not positive.

ya that requirement is for the whole computer including the video card. that would be the bare minimum i would think...

According to AMD Support, 18 Amps minimum for an AMD system (whole system, not just processor). Most Dual-rail PSUs far exceed that going into 30+amps. Its really a non-issue, if you get a Dual-rail PSU, it'll be more than enough.

And the Antec Truepower 2.0 is one of the best PSUs out there, you could hook up 2 X1900XTXs to it and you'd be fine.

Just a FYI - a single 7900GTX system would take up around 400W at full load, so don't freak out.
