higher fps in games?

You probably won't get the 6600GT faster than 525/1050 on stock.

i got my 6600GT alot higher than that on stock cooling......

it works fine.

if i overclocked a 6600gt 256mb to 1.05ghz and 525 would that show a noticiabal difference ?

why not do it and tell us your results!?!? for starters we couldn't tell you because they have different stock cloks and we don't know what yours is.
