I am building my first PC and I am struggling on the RAM. I will probably be overclocking because of these forums. I want a good gaming and all around multi-tasking machine. Here is the RAM that I am debating on:

Corsair XMS 2x512 dual channel

Crucial Ballistix

Kingston Hyper X

Which one would be the best or any others within the $90 dollar range?
Also what do you guys think of my new build? Any suggsetions or experience with these?

AMD Opteron 146
AsRock 939sli32 esata
Samsung SpinPoint 250 Gb Sata2
Rosewill Value PSU ( I know that its cheap, but it has good reviews)

Cooler Master Centurion 5 CAC-T05-WW

I appreciate anyones help and I have already learned a lot from this site. Thanks

1 thing, if u wanna OC get a 2gig dual channel, not that it makes a difference OC wise, but its just really goood, and if you are going to OC the only good company there is Crucial, but i'd sggest OCZ or G.SKill.

The mobo isnt that great either ( not that i no of) for OCing get the DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D. DO NOT cheap out on the PSU get an Antec TruePowerII.

Ohh I wouldn't be cheaping out if my wife didn't have my cojones in a jar. But since she does, this is the most I can spend. So you think OCZ or G. skill for overclocking? Even if I went with the one gig?

So what is wrong with this MOBO? I am not going to be a huge overclocker. I just wanna get a little more outa my comp. Does anyone have experience with this MOBO?
Sorry I;m asking a lot of questions but, should I buy higher speed memory than my mobo handles for overclocking?

k first of all tell ur wife that if she has ur cojones in a jar, then shes doing the wrong thing, and if u cheap out on a PSU and something is wrong with it, U JUST WASTED A LOT OF MONEY.

Yes OCZ or G.skill even if 1gig ram

The motherboard i suggested is the best for OCing, and just the best IMO. IT is very stable. and is best in compatibility with AMDs ( from what i read)

Your Corsair XMS will be fine if you only want to OC a little. Your setup should be fine, but if you can, I would suggest trying to find a better PSU. See if your wife will let you spend a little bit more money on it.
