Noise From PC

Hey Guys,
I just recently started having a noise coming from my PC whenever it boots. It doesnt start right away but about a second or two after i press the ON switch. Anyways i thought it was one of my fans grazing a wire, but the wires are not even close to any of the fans. The noise only stops if i shake the case (Which I know is bad) but when i reboot the noise just starts again. Any Ideas?

It could be a FAN going out, OR the harddrive is going out. Open the case and find out exactly where the sound is coming from.

I think it could be the fan because a few months ago, i went to move my fan from the side to the back of my case and when i was hooking in the back, the wires came out. So make sure the cables are securely connected to the fan because if they are not, then it will definetly start making noises. (It was so loud that i couldn't hear myself think,lol)

Just look for where the sound is coming from. It could be something rattling around in your case.

maybe the case itself is rattling because of the hard drive, or fans
