Something that's OEM come with just the main part. For example a motherboard would just be the motherboard, no cables, no manual, not even a box!

To re-install windows XP you must first go into the bios and change the boot order so that the computer boots from the cd. Then boot from the CD and follow the on screen instructions. If you want to save data put it on a seperate drive (you don't have to unplug it, just don't format it!!). Make sure you re-format the harddrive, not a quick format but a full format.
 
If you are very careful and very patient you can return those bent pins to their original positons. You need a good light source and magnification. Once you have them vertical on both planes attempt ot insert the cpu and pay careful attention to where they are bound up in the socket. I have restored several CPU's with bent pins and have been sucessful every time! The only fatal error is breaking the pin while bending it back. If that happens......garbage can is a likely spot for the CPU!!
