Well it depends on what kind of performance you need from a computer becuase both processors have advantages over each other I think. Its like Macs and Video/Picture Editing I chose Intel becuase all of the computers I have Intel CPU's and I have better experience with them. I've only used a couple of PC that had AMD and they were K-6. Unless you start to compare and benchmark both types for performance, speed etc then you can say AMD is better
