low 3dmark05 scores on 7900gtx

Yea, 3dmark takes CPU into account too.

Pentium 4 3.0ghz = Athlon 64 3000+
Pentium 4 3.8ghz = Athlon 64 3800+

See what I mean?

does that mean that my 64 4000+ is = to a 4.0 GHZ p4?

well i can say with 80% its the cpu holding it back. its clocked to 3.750 at the mo and stable.(for now). and my score jumped up to 8575.

new drivers?! haha i installed the new drivers for my 7800gt and my score dropped about 1000 points, but unless its some huge competition for score, who cares if it plays the games

well its not about the competiton if scoring. its about buying a piece of hardware that isnt cheap here in new zealand and having it not work to its full potential. Thats what bugs me
