Painting a moniter?

thx alot. im problly going to take the back off aand try to be very careful, so if you guys dont hear from me in accoyple days you should probly call 911...........lol

i definitely wouldn't take the back off. just cover up the screen and try not to get anything in the vents.

just cover the front of the sceen with some news paper...and as for the back vents....are they little round circles ??

You can paint just about anything. Including LCD or CRT monitors. The only problem is, you need to take them completely apart. If you don't know what your doing, don't attempt to take either of these apart.

You also need really good painters tape and you must tape like a champion... A super sharp exacto knife is key....

any way back on topic I painted a moniter, it was easy.


Get some tissue,

put 5 coats of tissue on the whole screen, then due the same with the vents only with cardboard on the base, then the tissue on top.


It worked out great and and I had a nice sleek mettalic black moniter
