i have an lcd so painting it would be pretty pointless.... painting a monitor in general would be pointless...

haha, walked right in to that one, and dont give me the opinon crap neither

first of all you guys are going to get my thread closed because of your little flame war.

second of all static is entitled to his opinion, he was just saying that he would never paint his moniter, and dosent desereve to flamed "cause" he stated his opinion

yea well its nearly midnight, and i aint got anything else to do, lemme have my fun, i gave good advice to, to balace it out...oh yea except taking the monitor apart, dont do that, besides you should be pleased we are discussing responses in such depth

i personnaly found it quite entertaining but the mods ussually dont.......lol

you could paint it 2 tone like this one but with black in the front and white in the back.

Use flat or semi-gloss paint because the gloss paint will reflect light in your eye:p

I believe you both are entitled to your opinions but if it is infact midnight and you want to "have your fun" make a thread that you want to flame in and see how long it stays unlocked. Have some respect for the threadstarter and dont flame his post going on about stuff that doesent even matter, if you are infact 19 then start acting like it and don't let people get the better of you.
On a better note, if you would like to paint your monitor do it the right way, take the back off and the front off and paint them the right way. Yes there is infact A LOT of electricity going through it but if you want to do it right then be VERY VERY carefull and take it off and do it, if you do it right your fine, or even let the monitor sit unplugged for a few days to make sure its okay.

You can really only use spray paints I'd imagine, and those that don't carry electrostaticity. Use the tape as stencils to protect the screen.
