None of those, i'd get the DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D.

As for your case, try not to get a Power SUpply that comes with something else, ur jsut asking for complete meltdown.

I suggest the Antec TruePowerII PSUs, and as for case, go with a nice antec or thermaltake or something that looks good, but also has a like 3 fans that come with it, and has good space for building and good airflow.

get a dual core AMD.

As for Optical drive get the NEC 3550A.

Also try to get a hard drive from any of these companies: Seagate, Western Digital.

and since the mobo i suggested comes with ethernet, no need for the internal modem.

That is ridiculously overpriced. I agree with john3, the DFI board is very solid and if you are gonna OC, it will be perfect. A budget of 1500 dollars custom built will kill that prebuilt computer.

Oh and I was reading another forum where they said Antec PSU are not really worth buying because they crash a lot and take out motherboards perhaps I should get these power supplies instead?

Seasonic/Enermax/PCPC/Fortron

Forton is a nice psu.

Motherboard: DFI lanparty or MSI K8N Neo4-F

CPU: AMD Opteron or X2 3800

Video card: e-VGA 7900GT

Ram: OCZ gold or Corsair XMS

Whatever case you want

I second the Western Digital Caviar 250GB S-ATA with a 16MB cache.

if u want another PSU get a fortron or the Enermax Liberty, or even better u can get the OCZ PowerStream series.

and by antec i meant TruePower, not Smartpower.

how much does the monitor cost?

cause you can get a Viewsonic VX922 19" 2ms for about $320
