not a lot but i want one that will be enough for games.

what did you mean "how bout u get that ram u picked". you said to get 2gigs

you still havent explained why UT ultra-D is better than UT SLI-DR
or why its better than SLIX16.

i would just get a rosewell powersupply at newegg... it works.

And all ram would work on any mobo as long as its the same type
theres:
DDR2
DDR
SDRAM
and a couple others

whats your budget for a psu.. not alot isnt a budget.. my not alot could be 100 bucks.. yours could be 50

i think i PM'd u about the mobo, i meant get that 2gig ram u picked the Corsair XMS, it was a good choice. and as for PSU get a Antec, or Rosewill or cooler master or something they are pretty good. Antec TruePower II 550watt is a great value.

CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory

this is the ram im thinkin about. if i decide to get a
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce SPP 100 or a
MSI K8N Diamond Plus Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 or a
Lanparty mobo
would this ram would work on all of these?
I'd recommend you get OCZ or G.Skill RAM

and anyway, if the motherboard doesn't support both cores, just update the BIOS.

if your gonna overclock , your better off taking this 2gb ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231021 and the opteron 165 processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103588 (also dual core, overclocks like a dream and the stock cooler is very good even for oc) , if your not gonna overclock then stick with the x2 4400 and with this ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231032

as for psu's considering the parts , better take one of these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103932
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104014
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817711001

as for case , thermaltake armor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133154 (bit heavy, but resonably priced FULL Tower and have good cooling)

Go to DFI forums and you will get an education from the experts on both boards and be able to choose the best components to fit with it. PSU, Ram, etc.

ive been there, they suggested the crucial, Gskill, or OCZ. most (if not all) of the lanparties only support 8x each when SLI is active. but right now im leaning toward MSI K8N Diamond Plus Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16.
