Removing Bluetooth places icon on desktop?

How do i do this?

Ive got my "Bluetooth places" icon on my start bar and on task bar when its in use so i dont need it on the desktop, right clicking the icon only brings up 2 options, "create shortcut" or "start using bluetooth"
 
Login as an administrator.
Open the Registry Editor
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
Expand NameSpace and look for a key named {6af09ec9-b429-11d4-a1fb-0090960218cb}. Verify the keyÂ’s default value is My Bluetooth Places, and then delete it. Note: You may want to backup this key before deleting it.
Refresh the desktop
