resizing cold cathrodes?

i have some 12 inch cold cathrodes. I need them to be shorter in order to fit where i need them. Is there a way i can cut them to make them smaller? thanks

You will have to buy new one's,What size do you need them to be cause they also sell them in 6" and 4".
