Windows 98 Key Code in Registry

I have lost the key code for my Windows 98SE CD. Someone has told me that I can find this in the registry files, but they weren't sure how to do this.

Does anyone know how to find this, or where I could look to research this information.

I'm not sure what I have done wrong. My Windows 98SE is giving me errors, something I installed is causing problems. I need to reformat and reinstall, but I have lost my key code...

I know it's in the registry file, I just don't know how to find it.

What have I done wrong?

I HAVE FOUND IT!!!! With a little diligence I suppose you can do anything. On to reinstalling....
