IDE help w/ ASUS a8n32 deluxe

Aight , i bought the asus a8n32 sli deluxe mobo, and there are 3 places where an IDE hard drive's ribbon can go. ONe is a floppy, i dont have a floppy so im not using it right? then the second and third down are "pri ide" meaning primary IDE i think, and "sec ide". I connected my hd to the pri ide one and my cd drive to my sec ide. Is this correct?

yes, is there a problem with the pc at all? as long as the jumper configurations are right then you shouldn't have a problem

k well im happy 2 hear that. I'm getting my 2 gigs on Tuesday, then hafta wait however long it is till the decent 7900gts are back in stock, geez. The one time when i have money to spend, the cards i want are out of stock. geeez

i've got that board ... the ide port for the hd is light blue anyways...

it sticks out lol
