Rumors about 7900gt stock back?

on evga's step up program, do you have to buy direct from the evga website or can u buy the cards anywhere and still have the step-up program?

you can buy any card to GET eVGA's step up program, but to use it you have to buy their prices on their cards direct from eVGA

it says that all you need to do is purchase it from a retailer or w/e, but cant get from like an auction or giveaway.

OH......i see what you mean, if you want to use it you have to pay extra ( for the card you want to upgrade to ) according to their prices, not other retailers......is that what you mean?
