Help With CS Source!!

When i play the cs not source it works fine but when i try to play source it gets abought half way to the menu then a blue screen appears that says "your system has shut itself down to prevent damage to its self" then all i can do is press the reset button. after resetting everything normal. I dont know why its doing this, its only on source. anybody know?

maybe some game files have become corrupted. try reinstalling CS:S

you can turn that blue screen off somewhere...forgot where...so that it doesnt pop up like that

i have reinstalled it a couple times and it keeps showing up. i will look for a setting for it but would it be good to turn it off? wut if it is saving my computer?

if you dont wanna risk turning it off....you could try re-installing windows
