Which hardrive?

I've been surfing through the hardrives at NewEgg and found those two:

Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive, Model WD800JD, OEM Drive Only

and

Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM ATA133 Hard Drive

Which one is better and which one heats faster?

One is a SATA n' one isn't that itself makes a big difference in performance ... the SATA 's(150MBps) data transfer rate is more than an ATA133 (133MBps )

As far as heating goes ... i think the both drives would be 'bout the same.

thanx, The WD is 5 bucks more than the Maxtor, so I am definatlly goin with WD.

pc_boy you should also get a hard disk cooler. it is a fan & heatsink that you screw into the bottom of the hard disk. it helps a good deal to cool them. both of those heat up fast and hot. put your hand on the disk after 30 mins of use and you will know.
