6600 gt oc

guys i have been offered a deal i think, my friend has a 6600gt oc by BFG, its less then a month old but he got a 7900 gtx and was wondering if i wanted to buy it for 170cdn, is this good? iv checked local stores around here and the xfx 6600gt is around 299$ so im guessing the 6600gt oc would be more but i dont know if its a waste of money for the little upgrade because of all the new cards comming out, should i save more and get a better card or get it? i have a 9600 now.

In the US, you can buy it for $100 which is around $125 C so its not a good deal.

ncix and tiger direct have the card for 160+tax and then shipping would be aorund 200$ to here anyways and local stores dont have the 6600gt oc just the 6600gt and its 299.99$
