what's your highest oc on stock cooling?

pretty much what the thread says....here's my highest.

it wasn't stable though....i think after prime 95 testing it started getting errors with in like 2mins...but i couldn't push it any farther as the computer didn't wanna boot.

i can hit over 2.6ghz on my 2.0ghz manchester core. i dont think i can get it stable though with the stock cooling, that is at least not to my liking but i could probably do it. i am currently running 2.5ghz@1.4v, stock is 2.0ghz@1.35v.

edit: forgot to mention 2.5ghz is solid as a rock.

i got 600mhz increase on my 2.8northwood on both stock cooling, and a zalman hsf, the temps fine, ti just dont want to go any further

Iv gotten my 2.0 northwood up to 2.5 where it sits right now but i have gotten a new cpu fan since then.

I've successfully gotten my AMD Athlon 64 3000+ from 1.8 GHz to 2.4GHz. Although, I ended up bringing it back down just a little because I wasn't sure if it would remain stable or not. It did run fine while I had it there though. And if you go by percentages, that's what, a 33% increase? Pretty good.

Well i dont exactly have "stock cooling", i have a zalman 9500 but ive gotton mine too boot over 3ghz, it wasnt stable for very long though.

hey wayniac....download prime 95...it's a stress test, it'll stress your cpu....that way you'll know if it will run stable....usualy i would oc...then run prime 95 over night while i slept and if is passed the test in the morning then i bumped it up a little bit more.
