get the dell....they are great monitors, with no artifacts or bad shading and hardly ever get dead pixels, they have great refresh rate too.

What would be the down side to getting a widescreen monitor? (sorry if im thread jacking)Ill mostly be gaming.

The only thing widscreen is good for is watching movies. But Im mainly a gamer so Im wondering if this dell is a good deal. I need to decide soon because the 20% off deal is over on wednsday.

I think im going to get it the price is too good and free shipping. I use dell lcds at school and they look amasing to me and there analog only! The 20% off deal ends wednsday so im going to go for it.

I have the non-ultrasharp version of that screen and its fabulous, one of the nicest I've ever used. Enjoy it, it is simply superb, (as I believe that version just has DVI interface and height adjustment over mine!
