128 mb graphics card

do u think that games are goin to start to require greater that a 128 mb graphics card anytime soon??

well its technically not "required" to have more then 128 but its always a big plus+, but yes there are 512 cards nowadays. i still have a 6800 vanilla 128 and it runs 90% of games on high settings. im not going to upgrade until i absolutely have to.

And with all the new games and dx10 and vista coming out.... upgrading to be able to play the new games is right around the corner... lol

very true but A) i dont plan on getting vista at all, its just eye candy and B) i dont game alot so when i play i play CSS and fear and doom3 the most which my 6800 plays fine. but yes for others they may want to consider upgrading.

well.. when vista comes out, there are going to be so many new games for the dx10..
