Re-applied AS5

I cleaned my CPU and applied a new layer of AS5.
My temps dropped from approximately 51-52 (idle) to 45-46.

AS5, but I removed the fan a couple of times in the past months without applying new AS5. That's why I decided to do it today.

I applied the OCZ silver thermal paste yesterday and my temps rose from 38 to 42. I'm so ****ed off but I have to wait another week or so for the paste to really set in. My video card temp dropped 3*C to 27 on idle and 38 on load. The stock thermal pad that I used for a few months was pretty good but it was **** taking it off. It was stuck soo much to my CPU that when I pulled off the heatsink ever so slowly it pulled the CPU off with it without even moving the little lever . I was freaking out but when I put it back in everthing worked fine.

You maybe have used too much of it. I am currently running Prime95. It is at 49C at the moment, but still rising.

Max temp seems to be 51C, but it is pretty cold today.
