64bit OS

Hey i just built a new maching which has an AMD Atlon 64 X2 processor in it. I have a copy of windows XP, but i was wondering if i should buy a 64bit version of windows. would that make a big difference in performance. sory if my explanation if vague.

No, you should be fine with your Windows XP. If you want a new OS, wait for Windows Vista to come out.

well see i have windows 64 with a 2x processor and i really enjoy it its not that hard to find drivers for things most sites will have them the only problem i have had was i cant find a driver for my wireless internet but i use lan anyways so it doesnt matter too much to me so if you want to use your dule core i would say it would help enough to matter

yeah it seems that if i would pay the $2000 to get a high end machine i might as well have the windows 64. thank you for your help!
