He has an old cpu so this would make it better. Its not for gaming.

I don't know anything except that he is on a budget of like $200.

If he needs an os his brother will steal him a copy of the net.

thats great to publicly announce a OS theft on a forum. i think microsoft pays what? 5 grand to find illegal copies or something along those lines and i could really use 5 grand.

well, cant buy a motherboard without knowing what his old mobo is like, so find out
