MCE hardware choice

I will be building a gaming computer and I want to try out Windows Media Center Edition 2005. I want to have a TV tuner and remote to use the features of MCE. I will be using the DFI Ultra-D, AMD 3800 x2, and 2GBs of cheapo Ram.

Should I get...
MCE 2005 $115
7900GT $320
TV tuner and remote $100
= $535

Or should I get...

$553 (- $50 combo price) = $503 ( -$30 mail in rebate) = $473

i say get the seperate tv tuner and vid card, because each of those were designed for one thing. also X1900 media editon wont get you as good as perf in games. but ati's cards generally have better IQ so your choice. performance or eyecandy

i say the first option. you should never factor a rebate into a price. just think of them as a nice bonus. you can't always count on receiving rebates

I really don't count on rebates, I saw it when I got the link for this post, so I typed it in.

Anyway....I will be emptying my bank account when I build this computer and I don't want any regrets, If anyone has any other opinions, Please let me know.
