Hello,
I have built a 2.8 Northwood pc for a friend, His specs are as follows...
Windows XP Pro
Intel 2.8 Northwood 800FSB H-T
MSI 848 p mobo
1x 512: 1x 256 DDR400 PC3200
Ati 9600xt
The problem is there is no option in bios to turn on the Hyper-Threading. The performance bar in the task manager has only one processor listed. Any suggestions?
My rig is very similar except there is options in bios to turn on Hyper-Threading, the only diff is i have the FIC 865PE instead.
I am tottaly lost on this please any help my friend would greatly appreciate it.

Thank You,
Glenn

Its a 2.8 Nortwood 800FSB H-T chip installed and no h-t feature
in bios really wierd says its 800fsb though

Im saying it has 800Mhz FSB but no H-T y.... U really think it could be as simple as a bios upgrade???
