yeah, motherboard manual will show which is which. if the cable isn't labelled normall a white or black cable is used for the negative

this is a public forum you know.....

anyway, most of the things in your computer won't be ruined if you put them in the wrong place (unless you are cutting things off/breaking things to get them to fit)
the motherboard doesn't supply high enough voltage to parts to fry them, except for frontal USB ports

my bad, but i didnt say anything rude, or swear, and if a person can understand the word 'tap' than they are definitely of age to be able to hear it.
