DVD RW Problem

Hi I have a LITE-ON DVD Re-Writer and it doesn't read certain disks
I phoned the company I bought it from, and they sent a replacement. This does the same thing. The discs which don't work seem to be random.

all those discs have been tested on a CD RW or a DVD player, and they work fine.
Any suggestions?

Update. I still have this problem. I updated the firmware, I replaced the drive itself, and still no joy. One more thing though, it does not even attempt to write on a blank dvd.

2nd bad drive maybe? Can you borrow another drive and put it in your computer and see if it works? Or buy one from the store and take it back if it has the same problem.
