yea, im on a budget. the most i have for vid cards is $150, thats why i opted for those two. unless those higher end vid cards are around $150 and im not looking good enough, help me out please. thanks
just get a standard 6800, you wont kill your budget with it like you will a 6800gs, but if you have the money go with a 6800gs, i wouldnt even consider getting a plain 6600, maybe a 6600gt. i have a apollo 6800 and it plays everything i throw at it with med-high settings, and good framerates.
um...he prolly has a budget...no one thort about that did they...to me when he is lookn at cards around the $119 mark..im guessing he doesnt wanna spend to much $$$....so thats why i sudgested the 6600GT....not everyone has money to blow on $300 graphic cards you know....and the 6600GT...there is nothing wrong with this card...its still a great card
Yeah he could be on a budget, but I saw it as the same boat I'm in, I don't want to have to rebuild my entire computer (just yet) to be able to utilize a top-of-the-line PCI-E card. If he's looking for a high end AGP card, maybe these are the way to go. . .:S
And a question, how noticable is there difference in performance between the RADEON X850 XT and the RADEON X850 XT-PE (Platinum Edition)?
if you dont game 24/7 and aint that HARDCORE, just a gamer that plays regularly and doesnt need it to look so good and is low on price then damit, GET THE 6600GT! plus it can play all games of today on at least medium settings, its a great budget card.
