On my AMD ATHLOLN 64 3200+ I can not find what type of core I have.

All I can find is X86_Family_15_Model 47

look in your BIOS

Yes, try cpu-z or get Everest home edition and check in that.

If your going to be overclocking the cpu, do it in the BIOS. Check the Overclocking forum here on TF and you will find some guides on how to do that.
