Beta Drivers!!!!

I just downloaded the newest nvidia driver and im still having problems with the source engines on steam and they said to download the beta drivers but when i tried to instal it it said i didnt have the right hardware or something. And i uninstalled the display driver but left the gart driver, ide driver, and the pci managment driver. WHAT DO I DO? HELP PLEASE

what's your video card?
if it is an Nvidia card, I'd suggest trying these drivers

then dont use beta drivers use the most up to date one or the one that came with your card on the cd
