7800 gs PSU needed?

My PSU is a Ritmo ATX, 450watt , and its says remote where it is refering to amps etc ( i think ) .

what does that mean?? -remote ???

anyway, do I need a better power supply to run a XFX 7800 extreme AGP video card???

Ive heard a lot of people mentioning 20Amps or higher for other similar gpu's , but Im really not sure at the moment.

I've been sourcing the same info as I was planning on getting an 7800 or 7900 in a couple weeks. The concensus seems to be nothing less than a 500w. Im going for the Antec Truepower 550w PSU.

The Antec Truepower 550w PSU is more expensive at $199 AUSD and can be found at landmark computers in Melbourne, not sure if they have stores in other states.

Its a good idea to get a nice new 500W PSU but I think this card *should* run fine on a 350W PSU on a standard system.

i'm using mine on 450W came with Antec Sonata-2. shared with DVD +/- R, no probs at all.
