I don't think 16X will ever be neccessary. It said on the website that internal memory and interface speed were not bottlenecks like on early video cards. Only the software and speed of the onboard proccessor matter. It is not the amount of info going in and out that is the problem but all those intense math equations.

Yay, finally a use for that PCIe x 4 on the Ultra-d. Are there any other things that use that slot? I dont think ive ever seen one.
