yes i know the harddrive is pretty bad. i plan to replace this shortly after the purchase its my old one.

other than the hd, any other suggestions or should this be able to run most games on veryhigh/max settings with decent fps etc?

my budget is ~1700

what case u gettin? why not get the new asus a8r32 mvp crossfire 3200 deluxe if ur gettin that card then u can add another one when its needed. to save some money get the x1900xt and then oc it.

whats the mobo? (nforce410 is an nforce4 southbridge that includes onboard graphics) and why would you even go for a mobo with onboard graphics when your buying a graphic card? what ram & dvd-rw are those exactly? brand/model and is it 2 sticks of 1gb or 4 of 512? , what about case/psu? , never heard of SCEPTRE better go for a more known brand like viewsonic and why would you get an lcd with 8ms when there are lcds with 4 and even 2 ms , i somewhat doubt the hd have 2mb buffer ive never heard of a 250gb with a 2mb buffer are you 100% sure about it? , you mentioned your budget is 1700 but didnt specify is it in euros/dollars/canadian dollars what is it exactly?

maybe he wants the XTX to overclock?

why only 2mb cache hdd?

i've never heard of SCEPTRE monitors.. go with a company that has a reputition..

if you are going to OC, get an opteron 165. if not, drop down to a X2 3800+ or upgrade to an X2 4400+ for the extra cache

other than that, looks good. wut case though??

If you can afford a x1900 xtx, i think it would be better to go with a eVGA 7900GTX.

yea, but you cant find the 7900gtx anywhere. i want one real bad.

except ebay, but they are uber expensive there.

personally, i think you should hold up with any high-end cards because the G80s are going to come out this year. just grab urself a 6800 or 7800gt to hold off until then
