Building my first computer - Help plz!

My question is if that card is worth spending $30 more than the 6800gt I listed above. Also, is the 7600 compatible with my motherboard?

Yes it would be better spending the extra money unless you want to get a 6800GS.

AMD is better than Intel, AT everything now because of the DUal Core AMDs, they are better than Intel at gaming, mulimedia, video editing and image editing and ****. We'll see wat will happen wen the Conroe comes and what AMD will retaliate with, i have faith in AMD

Note: If you dont no how AMD compares to Intel, then you clearly are not familiar with Intel. I, and almost everyone on this site would suggest to go with AMD, AMD is cheaper and Better.

Ok, I changed some parts to make it AMD.

Is this build better than the one I originally mentioned? Also, is everything compatible with the things that are listed above (anything I don't list here I didn't change). Also, does anyone know how much of a difference I'll notice if I switch video cards from a 6800 GS to a 7600gt?

you didn't link case and PSU.

getting a cheap generic PSU that comes with some cheap case is very risky since there's a chance it coudl destroy all your parts. make sure to get a high quality PSU.

I would not recoomend that PSU...go with one of the follwing brands: OCZ, Antec, FSP Fortron, Enermax...id rec Newegg over tigerdirect. Better product, better service...

If you can afford it go for a 7900gt video card, its a really good deal at $315.
